Class of 2008

I’m Co-Captain of the Cross Country team and the Track & Field team. I talk a lot during sports, but my comments are encouraging.

It is easy to make friends at McLean.

McLean is a good fit for me. I’m a kinesthetic learner.

McLean teachers adjust their teaching to suit the need of the kid, or they’ll let the kid do whatever it takes for them to learn.

Like my Spanish teacher, Mrs. Myers; she lets me sit on the floor because I learn better than sitting in a desk.

My English teacher Mr. Booth makes English very interesting. He just doesn’t sit there and talk. He actually gets up and makes us laugh and understand the subject.

The teachers, during their free time, are willing to help the student having trouble.

They will prepare you to head off to college and they are big on self-advocacy. McLean gives you opportunities to become a leader.
