Dean’s list student, winning athlete, budding anchorwoman

What’s the secret behind Chelsea’s success? “McLean School,” she says, “helped me gain the confidence and discipline to thrive anywhere.”

“I remember writing what I thought was a really good paper. But my teacher handed it back a few days later saying, ‘You can do even better.’ I was mad, but you know what? He was right: I could do better … and did!”

Performing to the best of her abilities became the standard for Chelsea: She served on the student council, captained the undefeated field hockey team and earned top grades.

Inspired by her internship at ESPN, Chelsea is now a junior – and a dean’s list student – in Hofstra University’s prestigious communications program.“

I have nothing but great memories of McLean,” says Chelsea. “It definitely prepared me for college and beyond.”
