Meet Laura Conner

creator, trailblazer, individualist

An experienced actor and interior design faux finisher, Laura knows a bit about what matters inside and out. For her, it’s finding her own form of creative expression.

She began figuring that out at McLean, where she did lots of acting and creative writing. “McLean teachers really know you personally,” Laura says. “I got a lot of confidence and security from the one-on-one attention.”

Now Laura’s confidently customizing her studies at the University of Redlands, majoring in studio art, creative writing and theatre. “Before McLean, I didn’t think I’d go to college,” she says. “By the time I finished, I did well enough to get into my top school.”

After attending a London acting conservatory, Laura plans to act in film or theatre. Whatever roles she takes on, she’ll surely make them her own.
