GOLDEN HAND PLEDGE
The Lower School students were busy cutting out golden hands for the GOLDEN HAND PLEDGE. The Golden Hand Pledge is a continuation of creating a respectful climate in the Lower School. Last year, faculty and students worked to build the foundation of a supportive environment by emphasizing a different letter of ³GOLDEN² every month. The students traced both hands on golden paper. The right ³golden² hand will be displayed on a classroom chart around the written pledge. The left ³golden² hand will be displayed in the Lower School hallways as a border.

AS A MEMBER OF THE LOWER SCHOOL COMMUNITY, I RESPECT MYSELF, AND I RESPECT OTHERS.
I WILL STOP AND THINK BEFORE I SPEAK AND ACT.
I WILL NOT USE MY HANDS OR MY WORDS TO HURT MYSELF OR OTHERS.
