CURRY COLLEGE and McLEAN held a workshop for Guidance Counselors, School Administrators, and Educational Consultants in the Mid-Atlantic Region on “Navigating the College Search for Students with Learning Disabilities.”

Approximately 80 school and independent counselors, some local to the greater DC area, others from Baltimore, Richmond and even Pennsylvania attended this presentation by the professional faculty of the internationally renowned Program for Advancement of Learning (PAL).

The presenters were Dr. Nancy Winbury the Coordinator of PAL Admissions and the Coordinator of the Educational Diagnostic Center at Curry College and Dr. Pat Mytkowicz the Coordinator of PAL for Multilingual Students, a specialized program within PAL for multilingual students who have learning disabilities.
