Middle School Cross Country
“We are the Champions” Part 2
On October 31, the Middle School cross country boy’s team won the PVAC championships, racing against JDS, Washington International, Saint Anselm’s Abbey, Sandy Spring, Washington Waldorf and Field. It was a perfect autumn day to have our last regular season 2-mile race and the boys really stepped it up to show the rest of the PVAC what a strong team we have this year. Our top five runners consisted of Martin K. (13:06), Carsten V. (13:33), Kyle B. (14:06), Joe R. (14:19) and Simon C. (14:32). Also note-worthy was Danielle W.’s performance, racing as the only girl for McLean and finishing 5th overall in the girls’ race. The entire team had such a successful race yesterday and should be very proud of their accomplishments.
