International Night: Celebrating Family Heritage

On February 23 at 7:00pm, McLean will host International Night. On display will be student art working and essays telling the story of their family traditions and history as well class projects that celebrate knowledge of other cultures and family traditions.

Joseph Lekuton, the Maasai warrior, will speak and sign his book, Facing The Lion. The Floyd Project Dance Company will perform.

Families are invited to join International Night, our celebration of family traditions, by bringing a dish that represents their family heritage. If your family’s last name starts with A-M, please bring a main dish and if your family’s last name the starts with N-Z, please bring any side dish. Dessert and drinks will be provided.

Traditional heritage dress welcomed.
